Micathel Stud has successfully campaigned its goats since 1997 as a method of showcasing the breed to the public and bench-marking its performance against other studs.
At Australia's premier Boer goat competition, Sydney Royal Easter Show, Micathel has been Supreme Exhibit and Most Successful Exhibitor, three of the last four years.
Micathel has won over 210 awards at Sydney Royal Easter Show (Australia's largest Boer goat show), under a policy of showing only animals that the stud has bred itself.
Micathel won its first broad ribbon in 2002 and has since added another 53 broad ribbons to the collection.
Micathel has also competed very strongly at state championships and the Australasian Boer goat show.
